F4K 80s GLOW Fundraiser
𝙊𝙝 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩! Our F4K 80s GLOW fundraiser was a great success and we have so many to thank! We would especially like to thank the Brant Artillery Gunner's Club Unit 21 for their unwavering support of Friends 4 Kindness. Thanks to their generous board and members, they donated their beautiful hall for our event! Nicole and Rich you were the best bartenders we could have asked for! Thank you! We look forward to our next event with you!
𝙒𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝙉𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏 𝙇𝙊𝙉𝙂! Thanks to our friends, Ryan & Jen, at Goodtimesbartending who made sure our dance floor was full! The 80s tunes were non-stop and you could tell that people were loving it when the dancing started immediately at the beginning of the night! There was no warm up needed.
𝟗𝟗 𝙍𝙀𝘿 𝘽𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙉𝙎...Okay we didn't have 99 Red Balloons but if we wanted them we know who we wouldn't have asked! Thanks to The Event Lady for donating some great NEON balloons to add to our decor!
𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 there are no words that can express the thanks and gratitude we have for you...so we'll do it in song... We'll never see you as JUST A FRIEND..because you showed your TRUE COLORS when you showed up saying I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU and you're like the WIND BENEATH MY WINGS..we're currently WALKING ON SUNSHINE because THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR. Thank you to Mandy, Erin, Tiffany, Stephanie, Pascal, Kelly, Linh, John and other John ..we appreciate you! And we even had extra volunteers waiting in the wings to jump in if needed.
𝟴𝟲𝟳𝟱𝟯𝟬𝟵... Thanks Premier Professional Accountants Inc. for always being supporters that we can "count" on. You delivered with donating your Bulldog tickets and dinner out! You made Keith Richards...or at least he was dressed up like Keith...really happy! Thanks again!
𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙜'𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩? I guess we'll find out on March 20th thanks to the Brantford Bulldogs and their donation of two tickets for the last home game of the season...enjoy Justin & Sophie!
𝙄 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩...𝙎𝙤 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣, 𝙨𝙤 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨... and that's what we'll be doing for months after our event! Thanks to St. George Family Eyecare for providing a very happy attendee with some new shades to wear at night...or maybe during the day which will come in handy with all this beautiful sunshine we've been having!
𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝟒𝙆 𝘽𝙤𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 aren't just TALKING HEADS, there's no REPLACEMENTS..some have been on this JOURNEY since the beginning. Sometimes we feel like MISFITS but we always know how to find our AIR SUPPLY and JOY DIVISION that your U2 can wear your BANGLES and join our CULTURE CLUB...all that to say, we're a working board and even if you don't see us all at an event..we're all there working and supporting Friends 4 Kindness one way or another..sometimes on the mic..on the dance floor or behind the scenes while getting everything else done. 𝙄 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢, 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢, 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝘾𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙈! Dairee Delite you are always there for us when we need you and our taste buds thank you! So many of our attendees loved getting their free ice cream coupons from you! Made us all really excited for summer times!
𝟖𝟎𝙨 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 & 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙨... to all of the people that bought tickets, came to DANCE ALL NIGHT LONG..thank you doesn't seem like enough! You made our first F4K 80s GLOW event a success! What a fun night! Fundraisers are lots of work..and you made us feel ready to plan the next one before this one was even done. Thank you...and yes, we're planning the next one already so start planning your outfits! You have a year's notice! Date TBA....
