Advocating for accessibility

graphic with red border and quote from Nicole saying accessibility is more than building a ramp to be able to access a building

On Saturday, June 1st, the City of Brantford hosted its Accessibility Expo. Our founder, Nicole Callander, was the guest speaker for the awards event. Nicole used the opportunity not just to share about Friends 4 Kindness, but more importantly to emphasize the reason we exist. Our goal is to ensure that everyone feels a sense of belonging, love, and understanding. We are all social beings wired for connection and community.

The Expositor wrote a great article quoting Nicole and highlighting the community awards.
